This brush works great to pull out loosened undercoat fur. I use this brush first, then use a Furmanator brush to pull the fur off of my dog. My dog has a thin coat so the Furmanator brush alone doesn’t catch the loose fur well. Once I “fluff” up his coat with this brush, it then easily pulls out. Definitely recommend for short haired dogs.
